The Spam Law has made us aware that we cannot stop unwanted emails in our browser, but we certainly can control them. Through various spam filtering programs, we can limit our emails tremendously but we also end up having to pull several emails out of our junk folders. We stopped using spam filter programs all together because by simply clicking the “From” button in the email program automatically alphabeticized emails so they are easy to keep, store or delete.

Spam emails come in waves. Rx medicine, cheap software, dating, home business, eliminate debt, ‘naughty’ and others come in waves and are cleverly sent. I not only delete them but if I remember a repeat email address, I add it to the Blocked Senders List (Tools, Message Rules, Blocked Senders)

AOL and other large servers allow any member to report any email as spam and if at little as 20 members report on sender, AOL will shut the host server that sends the email down. EmailBlastFlyer is an approved host server and this does not happen.

Knowing all this, why would a company buy email addresses?
